Meet the Teacher
What is your name?
My name is Stephanie Holler, and I am the co-founder of True Foundation. I am a graduate of Oral Roberts University and have received certification as a FACE certified master teacher of the Principle Approach method.
What do you teach?
I currently teach Literature, English and Music.
How many years have you taught at True Foundation?
I have taught at True Foundation since 2011.
What do you appreciate most about the Principle Approach?
I love that it teaches students and teachers to reason Biblically and builds character.
What do you see in your students that is most encouraging?
I love to see when they rise to meet challenges and the positive effects that it has on their lives.
Why do you love teaching at True Foundation?
I love the small class sizes and feeling of family.
How do you teach Biblical worldview in your classroom?
We do a lot of character profiles of the people in the literature which allows us to see if characters are thinking biblically.
What do you think most students appreciate about your class?
I hope they appreciate the balance of challenges and fun.
What is unique about you, your talents, or interests that you bring to the class room?
As a music minister, I make music a big part of my classroom by singing songs on a regular basis to help them learn. Due to that experience, I'm also able to help them with their public speaking skills. We also have fun in my class because of my "nerdy" love of puns.
What have you seen in your students over the years that has touched your heart the most?
They have all touched my heart in some way and I am proud of each of them. However, the student that stands out to me the most was the one who was so down on herself all the time and never thought she could accomplish anything. I have really seen her blossom into an encourager and seen a 180 degree from when she first came to school. I believe the environment, curriculum, and the love of Christ at True Foundation have helped her tremendously to become the person God intended.
